Greenville – Spartanburg International Airport (GSP)

Sloan Duncan is a part of a parking lot expansion project for GSP Airport as a part of the GSP Master Plan, which recommends $456.1 million in projects over the next 20 years. Within this Capital Investment Plan, $92K is being implemented to alleviate overcrowding onsite parking by adding a new Employee Lot, Economy Lot, Aviation Parkway Roundabout, and reconstruction of the Enabling Project which is the existing Employee Lot.

Sloan is contracted with Rodger loan is contracted with Rodgers Builders out of Charlotte and has key subs working to perform the mass earthwork, storm drainage, and sanitary sewer for the Economy and Employee Lots. Overall job quantities include 230,00 cy of excavation/embankment/import, 2 large double box culverts, 43,000 tons of stone base, and 17,000 tons of asphalt. Key subcontractors for the project are Collins and Hammett (earthwork), Chandler Construction (sanitary sewer), Jones Curb/Sanitary Plumbing for curb, and flatwork. Sloan is completing the set-up of stone base, paving, and total construction for the Aviation Parkway Roundabout and Enabling Project.  The project is expected to be complete by September 4, 2020.
