A type of granite that is an essential building component can be found within Cherokee County, at 486 Shaman Road, Blacksburg, South Carolina. Since 2010, Reeves started investing in the community to ensure quality materials are available to assist with the commercial, residential, and supporting network of road growth throughout the local and distant areas.

The material being mined at our Blacksburg Quarry has a Los Angeles (LA) abrasion test in the low 30’s, signifying a long-term durability and soundness of this material meeting or exceeding the needs of our customers. With the convenient location of our quarry, we serve customer needs in both North Carolina and South Carolina. In addition to the North Carolina and South Carolina Departments of Transportation (DOT), we are also approved for use with the Tennessee and Georgia DOTs.

At the core of Reeves’s operations for the Blacksburg Quarry are several initiatives for protecting natural resources and wildlife. From extensive geologic testing, we know that we have sufficient reserves that will enable us to be an operating facility for decades to come. High-quality Plattin Limestone, an essential component for construction projects, can be found at Southeast Missouri Stone at 1224 South Kingshighway, Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The material being mined at Southeast Missouri Stone has an LA abrasion in the 20’s, along with meeting the Missouri DOT standards for PCCP concrete. Southeast Missouri Stone has been a part of the Delta family from the early years of our existence. Providing high quality limestone products is at the root of our business. Our location on the I-55 corridor and the close-proximity of the Mississippi River allows us the opportunity to service the needs of our customers in Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee. Our product is also approved by the DOT in all three states, along with being an approved source for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Williamsville Stone is 9.5 miles north of Poplar Bluff at the Black River, and has been serving the local markets for years. The material being mined is from the Gasconade formation, which produces a high-quality limestone. Williamsville Stone’s limestone has a LA abrasion of 25, signifying a long-term durability and soundness meeting or exceeding the needs of our customers. The product from Williamsville Stone is certified by Missouri DOT, meeting the requirements for PCCP concrete as a course aggregate. Williamsville Stone has been meeting the needs of our customers in Missouri and Arkansas and meets the DOT requirements for both states, as well as being an approved source for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). In 2017, Delta Companies Inc. acquired Heartland Materials in Jackson, Missouri. Our convenient location at 1965 County Road 601, Jackson, Missouri is just off of Interstate 55 at exit 105. The material being mined at Heartland Materials is unique, offering a high-quality Plattin limestone with a LA abrasion in the 20’s, as well as a Kimmswick limestone that produces high-quality agricultural lime, with an ENM average of 514. Products being sold out of Heartland Materials meet the Missouri DOT specification for high performance road base and is an approved source for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Heartland Materials serves the needs of our customers in Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, and as far south as the Gulf of Mexico. Delta’s goal is to supply quality aggregates for the commercial, residential, and roadway construction sectors. Dexter Sand and Gravel sits at the foot of Crowley’s Ridge in Southeast Missouri, offering desirable sand and gravel across the area for Concrete and Hot Mix Asphalt production. Our location just off of Highway 60 at 19702 County Road 702, Dexter, Missouri offers the ability to supply sand and clean pea gravel throughout southeast Missouri and Arkansas. Dexter Sand and Gravel is a dredging operation, providing material that meets the Missouri DOT specifications for Class A sand and has been meeting or exceeding the needs of our customers in Missouri and Arkansas. Utilizing our resources responsibly is at the top of the list for Delta at the Dexter Sand and Gravel operation.
