Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI), Savannah, GA

The Diverging Diamond Interchange project was a Design Build interchange reconstruction of State Route 307 over Interstate 16 in Chatham County. It was a joint collaborated project between the Reeves Coastal Region and the Structures Region, working alongside ICE (design engineer) and the Georgia Department of Transportation. The project consisted of 0.5 miles of bridge and roadway construction with multiple phases to accommodate the traffic and construction. The existing traffic remained open to the public while building the right portion of the bridge, demolishing the existing bridge, and finally completing the left section of the bridge.
