Highway 49 Widening
Highway 49 Widening was a project Delta South acquired from the purchase of the company API. It was a multi-lane widening of Highway 49 that runs north from Paragould, Arkansas. The highway went from a two-lane to a five-lane roadway. The job had approximately 76,000 tons of asphalt, 86,000 cubic yards of excavation, and 64,000 cubic yards of compacted embankment. The $9.4M job was completed in two years.
