SCDOT District 4 Design Build

The Reeves Structures Region completed the $15.2M Design Build contract to replace eight bridges in Cherokee, Chester, Fairfield, and Union County for the South Carolina Department of Transportation. The project replaced three bridges in Cherokee County, three bridges in Chester County, one bridge in Fairfield County, and one bridge in Union County. Contract requirements included the design of the bridges in which we teamed with our design partner RK&K, along with right of way acquisition and utility relocation coordination. The project included installation of driven pile foundations, drilled shaft foundation installation, cast in place substructure, precast concrete girder box beams and cored slabs, approach grading and asphalt paving.
