I-26 Spartanburg SMA

As the interstate system of South Carolina ages, the South Carolina Department of Transportation has been investigating different mix types and pavement structures to ensure that new projects withstand the increasing traffic brought on by economic development in the state and last well into the future. Reeves Piedmont was the low bidder on one of these new projects in Spartanburg, South Carolina. At $25M, this 135,000 ton project was set to remove the top 1.5 inches of existing OGFC, correct the existing cross slope, and resurface with 2 inches of Stone Matrix Asphalt. The project included 18.39 miles of Interstate 26 starting at the South Carolina-North Carolina border and extends down to the Interstate 85-Interstate 26 interchange.

Carlisle Construction – Sikeston, Missouri

Delta North completed the asphalt paving on a new manufacturing facility for Carlisle Construction Products located in Sikeston, Missouri. Delta’s portion included grading, asphalt paving and striping of 39,000 square yards of heavy-duty pavement and 7,800 square yards of light-duty pavement. This project was completed in the spring of 2023. In addition to the contracted work, Delta’s Cape Girardeau quarry provided 62,000 tons of aggregate to other contractors working on this project. This project was awarded the 2023 Missouri Asphalt Pavement Association’s Quality in Construction Award for Commercial projects.

Stoddard County Surface Leveling Package

The Stoddard County Surface Leveling Project consisted of 5 different routes throughout Stoddard County, totaling 30.7 miles of roadway. The project totaled 27,000 tons of surface leveling asphalt material. Included on this project was intelligent compaction which involves gathering compaction data collected by breakdown rollers.

GPA Operations & Maintenance Building

Reeves Coastal performed all site work for the future Georgia Ports Authority Operations and Maintenance building along with constructing an extension of Rappe Way in Savannah, Georgia. This $15M project required over 175,000 cubic yards of earthwork and over 2,000 tons of asphalt.

Claxton Airport

Reeves Coastal performed all site work and asphalt paving for the Claxton Airport expansion project in Claxton, Georgia. This scope included construction of a taxiway, apron, and airport entrance road in addition to relocating the fuel facility and taxiway lighting upgrades.

I-155 Pemiscot County – Hayti, Missouri

Delta North was awarded Interstate I-155 contracted with the Missouri Department of Transportation. This project included resurfacing both northbound and southbound lanes, 20 miles in length, of Interstate 155 from Interstate 55 to the Mississippi River and Tennessee state line in Pemiscot County, Missouri. This project was completed in June 2023 and was awarded the NAPA 2023 Quality in Construction Award.

Belfast Keller Interchange

Reeves Coastal performed all earthwork, asphalt paving, and bridge construction for the Interstate 95 Belfast Keller Road Interchange project in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Receiving significant attention for its design features and immediate impact on the growing Bryan County community, this $18M project consisted of 200,000 cubic yards of earthwork, 14,000 tons of asphalt, 17,500 linear feet of storm drain, and 50,000 linear feet of concrete curb.

River Reach Parkway

Reeves Coastal constructed over 1 mile of curb and gutter roadway in Jacksonville, Florida. This stretch of road provides access to multiple Toll Brothers residential communities.

Inlight Warehouses

Reeves Coastal performed the clearing, grading, and utility work for the 28-acre industrial site in Jacksonville, Florida. The Commonwealth Logistics Center contains two warehouse buildings totaling over 500,000 square feet.

Superior Landfill

Reeves Coastal performed all site work for this Waste Management facility located in Savannah, Georgia. Cell 11 was just under 9 acres and required 260,000 cubic yards of total earthwork.
