State Route 11 / US Highway 129 Resurfacing

The $9M Georgia Department of Transportation’s Bibb-Jones State Route 11/US Highway 129 Resurfacing project included approximately 420,000 square yards of asphalt, 58,00 tons of hot mix asphalt, and new pavement markings, from the Gray, Georgia Bypass south to Woodlawn Ave in Macon, Georgia, totaling approximately 8.8 miles of the four-lane highway. The work on this project was performed at night to allow normal traffic flow during the workday.

Central Georgia Technical College Pavement Rehabilitation

The West Region has completed two pavement rehabilitation projects for Central Georgia Technical College: one project at their Milledgeville, Georgia Campus and the other project at their Macon, Georgia Campus. Both projects were similar in scope, including full depth reclamation, hot mix asphalt surfacing, sealcoating, and striping.

Greenville – Spartanburg International Airport (GSP)

Sloan has key subs working to perform the mass earthwork, storm drainage, and sanitary sewer for the Economy and Employee Lots of the GSP Airport. The project is expected to be complete Sept 4, 2020.

SCDOT Emergency Repairs

Sloan repaired sinkholes in roads throughout Greenville County for the SCDOT after heavy rain caused catastrophic damages, washing out existing storm drain pipe crossings on February 7, 2020.

Rehabilitation on Highway 133 to Oak Island

Reeves Construction Company completed this $15.8 million project to rehabilitate Bridge #14 on Hwy 133 over the lntracoastal Waterway, one of two access routes to Oak Island.

Berckmans Road Realignment and Widening – Phase 2

The Berckmans Road Realignment and Widening Project is a two-phase collaborative infrastructure improvement project in Augusta, Georgia between Reeves and Sloan Construction’s Bridge Division.
